Baby Shower GiftNov 19, 2009 We received this from my husband's uncle as a baby gift. My daughter has loved it from day one! When she was just a few months old she liked to watch the colors flash around. Now that she is older she likes to push the buttons. It is a very good car toy.
Great for car ridesNov 18, 2009 We purchased this in hopes that it would entertain our daughter in the car. It is small enough to throw in a diaper bag, which is the other reason for our purchase. Chunky handles allow baby to hold easily. There is a low volume setting and a higher volume, neither of which I find to be loud and annoying. The lights dance to the beat of the song. My daughter really loves it. Great baby shower gift. Also, may help teach cause and effect.. push the button and music plays!
clever toyNov 18, 2009 I purchased this for my three month old grandson. It caught my eye for its design, and caught my attention for its function. Good size for small hands, and he can chew on the handle! The music is not nursery rhymes, but symphony snippets. When the music hits a high note the colorful dots of light go higher; when the music holds a note, the light holds too. It is a bit difficult for an infant to push the silver dollar sized button to activate, but he gets the idea and is trying! Highly recommend.
Lifesaver for car trips!!Nov 17, 2009 Our fourteen month old daughter HATES riding in the car unless she's asleep, but when we hand over her "radio" she's happy as a clam! This has kept her entertained for over thirty minutes at a time, which, for a one year old in a confined space, is like a miracle!!! The music is quiet enough that my husband and I can talk in the front seat without being disturbed, and even when we do hear the music, it's pleasant and not some horrible jingle that you can't get out of your head (elmo's world anyone? uck). This is indispensable for us, I definitely recommend it to everyone!
favorite toy for 20 months straightNov 14, 2009 This has been my daughter's favorite toy her entire life, all 20 months. It soothes her after a shot at the Dr.s office, entertains her on a long car trip, and now she has started to sing along with it while calling out colors. I have replaced the batteries one time since we got it as a shower gift. It costs under $10. What more could you ask?
