Durable Dachshund ToyApr 30, 2009
My dachshund got this toy when she was a puppy and it is still her favorite two years later. Amazing that this toy has held up to daily chew and play! Just bought two more - durable, difficult to find elsewhere, great price!

Anyone who owns a dachshund knows that 1)one of their main missions in life is to seek and destroy any and all squeakers, and 2)they love beanie babies to pieces (literally). They thoroughly enjoy spilling beanie baby guts all over the floor. Of the whole house. Oy.
Someone at TY must own a doxie just as rotten as mine, because these little bow wow suckers are brilliant. My dog has owned his (the Weenie version) for over two years, and I have yet to sew wicked little Xs over the eyes or mouth to prevent leakage of beanie baby guts. No more swallowed eyeballs either--there aren't any removeable parts on this baby. And the fact that he can't rip this one open hasn't deterred him from playing with it--in fact, it's his favorite. It's definitely the most durable stuffed toy I've encountered, and I'd highly recommend it.

Ty has come out with beanie babies for your dog and they are wonderful! I got weenie for my dach/chi mix. The toy looks just like him. The toy crinkles when you touch it as well as has a sweaky in it. My dog thinks he has a new best friend. We love this product and have suggested it to every pet owner we know. Weenie is the hardest one to find though. I am so glad it was offered by this seller. Thank you so much!
