thank goodness for amazon and one day shipping!!! my 3 year old son has had dangles the monkey since he was born, and has been our little monkey ever since. fast forward to now and poor monkey disappeared! well anyone with a young one who has a 'lovey' knows...they wont sleep without it, wont eat without it, and is generally miserable when their bestie is missing! of course our new dangles looks alittle strange all new and soft (without crusties &chocolate milk stains) but he neverless does the job. thanks to TY for making soft huggable animals that are safe for our little ones, no eyes to choke on or small parts that babies shouldn't have. we have a collection in our house of pluffies, from hippo to elephant to penguin, and they are all great sleeping buddies. they have all had their share of trips through the laundry and each and everyone has come out just fine. perfect friends for little kids.
BUY A BACKUP!Feb 15, 2010
My husband and I got this for our 19 month old when she was about 11 months old. Dangles goes EVERYWHERE with her. My oldest has Winks. These toys are soft and very cuddley. I will let you know now I have performed "surgery" on Winks. After about a year of washing they get smelly. I ripped the seam about two inches between his back legs and pulled the stuffing out. I was amazed to find it was very nice stuffing but it does again tend to clump. The beans believe it or not are behind a mesh in the inside. They can't get out! I was exteremly please because that was always a worry of mine If this thing rips my kids will eat the beads. So NO worries there. We were able to find a backup Winks incase something happens to the original. We have introduced our two year old to the other winks and she is very cool with him. But we haven't been able to find Dangles, But I just ordered my backup Dangles.
We are getting a puppy this summer, and I have had nightmares of the puppy eating dangles with no backup.
So all in all if your looking for an amazing toy your child will LOVE get a TY Pluffy! I would recommend them to anyone! We have Ponds the Frog, Dangles the Monkey, Peanut the Yellow Elephant, Winks (both of them)gray Elephant, we also have the Gray and White Kitten (at the moment I forget her name!). My daughters would be tramatized if we lost any of them. Definitly a must have toy!

This is a quality stuffed toy. Ty never disappoints in their quality. I purchased this stuffed animal for my pupster Murphy. He is incredibly tough on all his toys but all of the Ty stuffed animals that I purchased for him hold up superbly. This little monkey is very cute and washes and wears well.

This plush is soft, cuddly, and adorable--who could ask for more? It is also very helpful when I have a migraine--fits perfectly over my eyes to block out the light. It's not why I bought it, of course, but it sure is a nice perk!
It helps nieces and nephews fall asleep when they come to visit for the weekend and it has cheered more than one friend who has had to stay overnight in the hospital. To put it simply--I love it!

I bought this monkey to replace a two year old's favorite friend monkey and even though the dangles - monkey that I bought is made by ty as well, they are not the same. Still she seems to enjoy it.
